Khanh's 12F Valedictory Speech ...

Thank you to Sam for the following photo:

Hi everyone. So a few nights I had a dream I talked to another form captain and asked what they were doing for the speech. They said they would wing it and I thought, oh yeah same. But then I woke up and realised I couldn't wing it and wrote this speech very quickly, so forgive me for the lack of quality.

To my fabulous form: in year 9 I had the absolute pleasure of being the form captain for 9F, and in my speech I told everyone I was very proud to be a member of 9F, and that being form captain would be my way of expressing my thanks to you all. That still stands true now. We've come so far from the awkward year 9's 4 years ago, when I used to wear my socks to my knees and we'd get lost trying to find our classes.

We've been through so much together, like battle of the forms, the school camps where we dressed as eyeballs, the ice skating outings, the trip to bounce, kk birthdays, winning most sophisticated at enviro dress and the various form teachers we've had through the years, such as Ms Hayes, Ms Cas, Ms Bock and Ms Akins. And a big thank you to Ms Williams for putting up with us this year, you were an amazing form teacher even if we could only have you for a year! This year may have been busy for us, and while we may have not had as many form outings, the love I have for 12F is still strong. Thank you for these past 4 years.

I'd also like to thank my family and friends for their support, and I've only come this far due to their presence in my life. Macrob has shaped me into a better person, and I'm so grateful to be here and to have met the people I have. I'm glad to be part of this mediocrity.jpeg cohort. I've made friendships I know will last a lifetime, and memories I won't ever forget. Shout out to ringaringalingbingbingping and picnic table I love you pals!!!

And now, I leave you all with these wise lyrics to live by:

Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me
I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed
She was looking kind of dumb with her finger and her thumb
In the shape of an "L" on her forehead
Well the years start coming and they don't stop coming
Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running
Didn't make sense not to live for fun
Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb
So much to do, so much to see
So what's wrong with taking the back streets?
You'll never know if you don't go
You'll never shine if you don't glow

I say 12 and you say fab!!!
