MacRob Student Company 2016

How has 2016 been for you? Well it's been a while since we've seen each other huh?

Thanks to the hard work everyone put in last year, MSC was able to gain approx $560 in its account including the SRC grant. This year we just need to push a little harder and we'll finally have our first big project on the way!

This year projects plan for MSC includes the school teddy bear launch and various guest speakers in the fields of commerce and business throwing a few sessions that addresses your interest. We are also planning to work together with other portfolios to have a few interesting events, and yes, the Macrob Student Company Outing is defs on the list this year.

There is however, going to be a few structural changes to the student company. One of which being that we'll have two more student co-leaders taking care of the club. This means that you'll be partially responsible for running the student company. It is a lot of work yet a truly rewarding opportunity. (Last year for instance I had over 300 MSC-related emails in my gmail account aha but I won't regret a thing and I've defs learned a lot. Don't worry, you won't have that many emails to deal with cos the workload will be hopefully shared between 3 this year.) It doesn't matter at all which year level you're in so just apply if you're ready!

So, if you have an interest in taking my spot after I leave next year (haha) or just are really interested in commerce and believes that you have the leadership skills and experience to back it up, reply to this email with your application. There's no format at all. You just need to tell us in detail what are your ideas and plans for MSC both short term and long term; and why you are the right person for this.
