Godstowe ... GAP YEAR 2017?

MacRob has a special relationship with a private girls' school in England called 'Godstowe'.  Each year, some year 12 MacRobians apply to go to Godstowe in the year following the completion of year 12.  They must be 18 on the 1st January of that year.  It is a GAP year for these MacRobians. They work as teacher assistants etc and support the young students of Godstowe.  They get paid for this work and get plenty of holiday time to explore England and Europe.  It is a wonderful opportunity.  Some of you would have talked to the Godstowe students at the recent Orientation Day at Melbourne Uni.  Already, some current year 12s have expressed an interest in this program. If you are interested, start talking to your parents.  The following video, (below) prepared by Julie Ja, Class of 2014, will give you a good sense of the program.  Julie and friends have offered to come to school, perhaps term 2, to talk to those students who are interested in Godstowe.  Thanks Julie!  Lots more information to follow on Godstowe as the year progresses.

The following photo is of the ex MacRobians who spent 2015 at Godstowe.
