pray for Paris ...

This is a message from Holly.

Only a few days ago the people of Paris were going about their lives as normal, getting ready for a Friday night out. 129 of those people never came home. Those young people wouldn’t have realised that it was their last time walking the streets of  Paris, their last time eating breakfast or that when they said goodbye to their family and friends at the end of the day that it would be have been goodbye forever. These people’s opportunities at life were tragically taken away by a few monstrous people with guns and bombs, thinking that they were somehow justified in doing this. But we can’t let them win. As Francois Hollande declared, this is an act of war. But this war doesn’t need to be waged with guns and grenades. This war needs to be won by the strength and unity of a world that believes in compassion, freedom and values each other’s lives. We owe it to those 129 people who will never get the opportunity to live out their dreams to live out ours. To live out our dream of making the world a more peaceful, better place, one small step at a time.
