In 2015, there is going to be a footy tipping competition for MacRob students, and that includes year 11! What is footy tipping? It is part of the culture of Melbourne where millions of people (yes, millions) guess who is going to win the 9 AFL games each week. It is something to talk about before each round of games and then again, after each round is complete. It is very difficult to pick 9 winners! If you do not know much about AFL, do not worry ... you probably have an advantage over those who think they know something about it. The whole competition is handled by a automated computer program which reminds you to tip each week and informs you of the results on a weekly basis. You can do it all on your smartphone. The competition is free to enter.
The winner of our MacRob Footy Tipping competition will have their name engraved on a perpetual trophy ... something to show your grandchildren one day with pride! The trophy will not be as impressive as the one above, but it will be impressive!
