your atar is private information ...

PRIVATE.  PRIVATE.  PRIVATE.
You may not realise that your ATAR is private information.  It is between you and VTAC. Teachers know the study score of their individual students ... not their ATARs.  It is up to you if you want to disclose your ATAR.  The only people in the school who know your ATAR are the Principal, Ms Chandler (VCE Coordinator) and the Careers teachers since they may need to provide you with advice.

Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awards ...

Thank you to Ms Pride for these photos from the recent Gold Duke of Ed Awards.  2016 was the first year that MacRob produced Gold Awards .... and there were 5 ... this is amazing.
Sarah, Emily, Margaret, Yude and Julia. (only 3 were present on the night).

Final Assembly & Pallas 2016 ...

You are all invited to Final Assembly which is on Thursday 15th at 9.00 am in the Hall.  It usually goes for about an hour and then you can collect a copy of Pallas 2016!  There should be a message about this on Compass.

Are you aspiring to do Medicine at Monash in 2017?

On Thursday 22nd December, in the L2 rooms, ex MacRobians are providing you with an intensive preparation session for the interviews you will experience in January 2017.  This is the MacRob network at its finest!  We will not be at school on that date but Ms Arnott is arranging staffing etc so contact her if you require more information.  Apparently, there is a MacRob Facebook thingy which gives you details about this.  The name of the person who is organising this event is Rhea Navani, Class of 2014.

countdown to 7.00 am Monday ...

This weekend, many of you will experience ATAR anxiety.  This is 100% normal.  It goes with being a year 12 student and the anxiety is often more intense for MacRobians due to high expectations.  There are lots of people at school to support you next week if required, so seek them out.  If Plan A does not work out, there is usually a Plan B or C that gets you to the same destination.  Soon, this tiny moment in time will quickly pass and before you know it, you will be starting your post school life.  It is exciting.  People who matter will judge you on the content of your character and not that statistic!  And ... one of you has already received their ATAR due to that 'error' by VTAC.  She will sleep well this weekend.
